You can't help but be proud of him.

Song of the Day: Waiting Outside the Lines by Greyson Chance

I have quite a few Greyson-related things to say. I hope you guys don't mind, but this is just too important.

1) So Greyson was on Ellen today, and of course, I watched it. He performed his new single Unfriend You and then announced something very important. His debut album, Hold On 'Til The Night is going to be released August 2nd! I want to camp out of Best Buy that night just so I can be the first person in California to buy it. :3 Also, he said he really wanted to be on Glee... And Ellen said she's going to try and make that happen.

2) Greyson performed the National Anthem at the Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Dallas Mavericks basketball game tonight. At first, ESPN didn't air [I have no idea why] and I got so angry. Then, I checked on YouTube and ESPN posted it on their official YouTube page. I don't know about you, but Greyson was amazing. He was so talented and his voice might've cracked, but he still handled it like a pro. If you want to see his performance, click here. I personally cried watching this, because he's gotten so far and he was doing this for his home team.

There are times like these where I am proud to be a Greysonator.

My Waiting 4 U Concert Experience!

Song of the Day: Unfriend You by Greyson Chance

I went to see Greyson Chance and Cody Simpson on Saturday, May 14, at the Anaheim House of Blues, and I had a blast! (;

I went with my mom, of course, and my best friend, Andrea.

Before you read this, watch this video to see all the pictures.

We left at around 9AM and got there at around 10AM. Andi and I spent the entire car ride basically just looking at the license plates of cars and playing several games of Punch Buggy. I remember when we were about three miles away from the venue, there was a lot of traffic. I legit bawled my eyes out. XD

When we got there, we got into a special line and got pink wristbands. To get into the line, we had to go into the House of Blues store and spend $40. Andi and I just got matching shirts.

After we did that, my mom left us in the line to get food because we were starving. I remember, waiting in line, we saw two celebs: Jessica Jarrell and Christian Beadles.

Jessica was pretty far from us so we didn't exactly get to see her very well, but you'll never guess how I met Christian - HE WALKED RIGHT IN FRONT OF US.

I was so starstruck I couldn't even get my camera out fast enough. HE SAID SOMETHING TO ME THOUGH! He said: "Excuse me." AHHH! ;D

Finally, mom came back to Andi and I spazzing out. Then, we went into the venue and looked for a good place to stand, since it was a standing show.

We ended up in the pit, about two feet away from the stage. It was so freaking crowded. Seriously. We got so hot because everyone was near us, and everyone kept pushing and shoving. -_-

The first person to come on was Cody's DJ, Epic Twelve. He's only 16 but he DJ'd like a pro! I was singing along to all the songs he put on, and I personally thought he should have DJ'd our school dance. He was on for about 30 minutes. Epic also threw out VIP passes!

Then Shane Harper came on. He was amazing! He sung the songs Dance With Me, Rocketship, Wait For Me, One Step Closer and a few other songs. He was so talented and said that Anaheim is the best crowd. He looked at me twice, once during Dance With Me and another time during One Step Closer. It was probably because I was singing all the words? =P He was throwing out t-shirts and stuff.

Then Camryn came on. I don't know all the songs she sung but I know one, I Love Being A Girl. She acted so mature and she wore a lot of make-up. When she announced she was only 11, everyone was like: "OMG! SHE'S SO CUTE!" Where as I was all: "She's the same age as me?" She was really good, though. She threw out guitar picks. I was kind of worried that it would hit me in the eye. XD

Then there was a 30 minute intermission and it was so long. Like, seriously. Everyone kept chanting: "GREYSON!" or "CODY!" and we all got so hot and sweaty.

Finally, Greyson and Cody came on the stage, opening up with a totally sick instrumental. Greyson on the piano and Cody on the guitar. It was... unbelievable. I laid my head on Andi's shoulder and we were like, screaming together. lol

Then Cody went off and Greyson stayed on. He sung the songs Heart Like Stone, Light Up the Dark, Paparazzi, Fire, Empire State of Mind, Unfriend You and Waiting Outside the Lines. He looked at me three times, once during Light Up the Dark and twice during Unfriend You. That's why Unfriend You is officially the best song in the world. Anyway, he said we were so amazing that he even got a camera out and took a picture of us... GOSH HE'S SO ADORABLE. <3

Then, after Greyson went off, Cody went on. He sung the songs Round of Applause, iYiYi [which was perfect, because May 14 is the one year anniversary of the song being on iTunes], Don't Cry Your Heart Out, On My Mind, I Found You, some song I didn't get the name of and All Day. During All Day he dougied, and yes, he is an amazing dougier, especially live. <3 He looked at me four times, once during iYiYi and On My Mind, and twice during All Day.

When the show ended, we rushed to get something to drink, then asked the lady if we could go up to the meet-and-greet. She said Cody wouldn't be there because of Wango Tango [a radio event] but we didn't care about that. She wouldn't let us go up at first because it was "closed" but she let us go up eventually, after realizing that we were total superfans. That lady was nice. =P

We were at the very back at the line, so Andi and I took the opportunity and went to the bathroom. lol Then, my mom saved our spot in line as we went to go up to the merchandise table, which was legit right next to where Greyson was meeting fans. I spent $70 on his merchandise, and I bought a bracelet, necklace, totebag and t-shirt. And yes, that came out of my own pocket.

After we bought the merchandise and were about to go back into line we saw Greyson comb his hair back and a lock of his hair stick up... DUDE HE WAS SO CUTE. <3 Andi and I were seriously freaking out because he was too cute when he did that.

My mom was so surprised when she saw what I bought because she thought I would only buy one item. =P Oh well.

Finally, it was our turn. I went up to him and showed him my poster. He said: "Nice poster," and I said: "Thank you." Then he signed it and signed Andi's construction paper poster, which, to be honest, Andi and I agreed it looked like crap. =P He also asked us if we liked the show [we replied: Of course!] and said thanks for coming.

Then, I told him that he owed me a hug so he gave me one. I got it on camera, too. It's my Blogger profile picture, but if you want to see a bigger version of it, its here:

Then, we walked out. But, before we left, Greyson gave my little sister a shout-out and called my mom a very nice person. Then, as we were walking out, we shared this little conversation thing:

Me: I love you Greyson!
Greyson: [smiles and winks]
Me: [waves]
Greyson: [waves back] I hope you had a good time!

BEST DAY OF MY LIFE. PERIOD. I WAS SPAZZING OUT THE ENTIRE RIDE HOME.

So that was it! Thanks to my mom for taking us there and taking all the pictures, Andi for agreeing to come after Bridget's dad dropped out and Greyson for making this the best day ever! <3

Can't wait till the next one! (;

A Very Australian Day

Song of the Day: Super Bass by Nicki Minaj

Certain Australians, actually. I'm talking about Cody Simpson.

So yesterday Cody revealed that he has a hotline where fans can call in and leave voicemails or even text him. The messages are available to hear and see on his website.

Today, at school, Bridget, Andi, Merna, Roxanne, Valeria, Esli, Mariam, Lusine and I called into his hotline. It was really interesting, what happened, so I decided I'm going to share with you all.

So at lunch I announced that I got Cody's phone number. At first everyone was looking at me like I was some stalker but then I explained to them that it was his hotline and that it wasn't his personal number.

The first thing I had to do was give the number out to them so they could save it onto their contacts. Then we gathered around, got our speeches ready and dialed him on my phone.

I put it on speakerphone so we would all be able to hear. When a prerecorded message of Cody came up, I swear, Mariam and Lusine screamed so loud that you could hear it from the other side of the field. [we have one of the biggest PE fields ever]

It was so loud that a girl [an eigthth grader, I think] came up to us and asked us what was wrong. We said nothing was wrong but we were calling Cody Simpson. She asked us who he was so Mariam showed her a picture of him [at the beach, I might add] and you know what she said? [and I quote] "Oh, he's hot."

She then walked away and wished us luck on talking to him. By then it was time to leave a message so we were literally screaming and giggling into the phone. I don't remember what we said exactly, but I know that I did say something about the tour, his cereal [Cody Crunch], his friend Campbell [who is really cute] and of course, GREYSON! ;D

After we hung up we screamed some more and started freaking out that he might actually listen to the voicemail we left him. I actually hope he doesn't, since if he did he'd be deaf and we'd be responsible.

Well, that's what you get for turning all your best friends into Simpsonizers. Marley wasn't there though, which really sucked because she's one of the biggest Simpsonizers at my school. I did give her the hotline number and I'm hanging out with her tomorrow so we'll call him again.

We decided that we're going to call Cody on a regular basis, and I think I'll be texting him quite a bit as well.

I really do think that Greyson should get a hotline though. I would call it every day and every night and text it 24/7.

Well, I'm still kind of tired from what happened when we called Cody so I guess I'd better go now.

Conversations

Song of the Day: On My Mind by Cody Simpson

So I have a lot of interesting, funny conversations at school. Since funny conversations like these simply must be shared, I decided to put them all here.

Marley: You know what I've always wanted to do?
Me: What?
Marley: Touch Cody Simpson's hair. I want to touch it, brush it, sniff it, and shampoo it!
Me: Umm... No offense, but that's just strange.
Marley: When you meet him will you ask him to cut off a lock of his hair so I can keep it forever?!
Me: 0.o
Marley: EVERY MINUTE, EVERY SECOND, EVERY HOUR OF THE DAY IYIYI CAN SNIFF CODY'S HAIR ALL DAY!
[Yeah, that chick has problems]

Jason: Is the answer five inches?
Jakob: NO IT ISN'T!
*Jason proves him wrong*
Jason: What! [in a I-just-owned-you-wrong tone]
Jakob: What! [same tone]
Mrs. Pak: Boys, I don't think the answer is what.

Xander: *sniffs air* Looks like someone made a fart.
Merna: Who?
Xander: *sniffs air some more* It was... CONNOR!

Me: *calling Xander* Hello?
Xander: Hello, Kolman.
Me: It's not Kolman... it's Isabella!
Xander: You're not going to ask me about Italian food again, right?
[I randomly called him once because I was bored and started talking to him about Italian food. LOL.]

Mariam: CODY SIMPSON IS SICK!
Me: How?
Mariam: He said that he's going to Orlando right now with antibiotics!
Me: I hope he's okay! I'm worried.
Mariam: IF HE'S SICK I'M SICK MAN!

Merna: Isabella! I just realized... You're meeting Greyson Chance in 11 days... Am I invited to your wedding?
[Yeah... I own the title "The Future Mrs. Chance" at my school.]

Jason: My parents can't come to the state fair...
Mrs. Kravitz: That's terrible! Why not?
Jason: They're going to be on a business trip.
Mrs. Kravitz: That's a bummer.
Jason: I know...
Mrs. Kravitz: Yeah... Now go spit out your gum, Jason, please.
[3, 5, 7, 9, who just owned Jason's behind? MRS. KRAVITZ! Lol.]

Kolman: You know, I always wanted to marry a rock. It would be less naggy than a wife.
Me: Once, there was a woman who married a rock...
Kolman: Well, I hope they have a wonderful life together... But no children, it would be awkward.
[What I said wasn't a lie, by the way.]

Merna: Wait, Asia, didn't you sit next to Hailey? Why are you next to Bridget?
Asia: Yeah, but Kate and I switched...
Xander: Nice switching action... Round of applause!

Merna: If you could move to any place in the world, where would you move?
Me: Australia FTW!
Merna: I LOVE THEIR ACCENTS!
Andi: Dudes, you're obsessed with Australia.
Me: They have amazing accents, duh!
Andi: So?
Merna: But... IT'S THE ACCENT!

Me: I don't know if you guys know, but I kinda love that Greyson kid... Oh, and that Cody kid is okay too.

Me: *over the phone* GUESS WHAT WE'RE DOING AT THE DANCE ON FRIDAY.
Andi: What?
Me: We're gonna do the Greyson Chance dance!
Andi: NOOOO.
Me: You owe me...
Andi: From when?
Me: I don't know.
Andi: Fiiiine, I'll do it with you.
Me: Yay. ^_^

Bridget: I'm so excited for the concert! It's like, five days before my birthday, too!
Me: WE'RE GONNA GET GREYSON AND CODY TO WISH YOU A HAPPY BIRTHDAY IF IT'S THE LAST THING WE EVER DO. EVEN IF WE GET KICKED OUT I'M DETERMINED FOR GREYSON AND CODY TO SING HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU.
[Yeah... I get determined]

So I guess this is a day in my life. ^_^ Pretty random...

I'll probably put more of these conversations up. Hope you guys like them!

Welcome to my blog. I hope you enjoy reading, but just to warn you, I talk a little too much about a guy named Greyson Chance. =P
